COVID 19 update.

Hello all!

I have decided to begin offering massages again starting Wednesday, May 27th and I felt it prudent to inform you all about the precautions I will be taking in regards to the COVID 19 virus.

  • I will be wearing an N95 mask while I’m working.

  • My clients must wear a mask of some sort unless they are laying face down (they can still wear one then which I do recommend but I won’t be requiring it at that point). They can provide their own or I will have some fabric ones that I will be cleaning, sanitizing, and keeping in individual closed bags.

  • I will continue to have 30 minutes between clients in order to make sure everything is clean between appointments.

  • I will be changing outfits between clients.

  • I will have my clients text me when they arrive and I will come to them as soon as everything is cleaned to my standards and there is little to no chance of encountering other people.

  • I’m currently looking into UV air purifiers which I will hopefully have within the next two weeks as they are sold out most places.

I also want to inform you, if you are unaware, that my husband does work in the Emergency Room. He wears PPE but there is still a chance he could get it and give it to me. It is important to me that y'all are making an informed decision before scheduling an appointment.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have and I’m very willing to take suggestions on how to be even more safe. I’ll have the same hours as before, 11-8, Wednesday and Friday in St. Pete, Thursday and Saturday in Tampa.

You can also still schedule online at

Thank you all for your patience and I hope you’ve been able to take care of yourselves during these last few months.

A Natural Way to Heal

Purdin Massage: Your Path to Wellness

Heal your body, naturally. I’m an experienced Massage Therapy Practitioner and a firm believer in a holistic approach to healing. The human body is made up of the mind, body, and spirit. All three must be in working order, so that a free flow of energy is achieved. Through my practice, I work hard to release this energy and promote well-being.

Who I Am and What I Do

My Journey

I have been a massage therapist since 2010.  Since then I've accrued knowledge of various body work techniques that I incorporate into my services.

  • Migraine and TMJD relief- I've developed my own protocols for helping my clients with these issues including intra-oral massage and addressing neck muscles that are often overlooked.

  • Myofascial unwinding- a technique that releases bound up connective tissue, or fascia, using gentle movements and rocking motions.

  • Polarity therapy- an energy work technique that balances the magnetic field of the body and  promotes deep relaxation.

  • Reflexology- a technique that focuses on specific points on the feet that correlate to places on the rest of the body.

  • Residual Strain Therapy- while similar to Myofascial unwinding, this modality uses more stagnant pressure to unbind your fascia.

  • Deep tissue- many clients ask for deeper pressure which is done including various techniques.

  • Assisted stretching- perfect for after a sporting event.  Your muscles are able to get a deeper stretch with a trained professional.

When I'm not making you feel better, I'm often found on a boat fishing or spending time with my husband traveling around the world.

Begining 2/1/2020 I will be working out of The Metta Center of St. Petersbug on Wednesdays and Fridays.
